Uninsured?
Our Healthcare Navigation for the Uninsured provides in-depth healthcare navigation for folks in Middle Tennessee who are uninsured. If you are uninsured, please call: 1.800.269.4038. (In Nashville, call 244.0488.) Our counselors will help determine if you are eligible for a state health insurance plan; if not, they will work with you to find a healthcare resource that fits your need.
In this program, our counselors:
-
provide services to children and adults who have no health insurance.
-
help callers find affordable insurance or locate a physician or caregiver in their area;
-
advocate on behalf of the patient with hospital or social services personnel, and even secure needed medical supplies and ways to help with medications;
-
helped enroll over 1,000 adults and children on health insurance since the program began in 2008; and
-
are often the connection to life-saving health care for these folks.
